Cove Street Arts

Before Christmas I received an email from Bruce Brown, curator of photography at Cove Street Arts in Portland. He was inquiring about my photos and asking if I had ever shown photo in Portland, Maine before. He was in the process of curation a show called “Portland Debuts II”, and was interested in having me be a part of it. The show would consist of 7 photographers, varying in styles and techniques, but all of whom had never had their images on display in Portland before. I was overwhelmed, excited, humbled, and a little in shock.
Am I ready for this? Are my photos good enough for a real art gallery? How large am I going to need to print these? Will the resolutions hold up? So much to consider! But despite all these thoughts, I didn’t hesitate to say ”yes”. When an opportunity like this comes knocking, you make it happen. And so I did.
From January 18th until March 9th, 2024 you can view 8 of my nightscape images at Cove Street Arts in Portland.
